Respecting The Property & Nieghbors
We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay at the Midtown Modern. We’ve worked hard to create a bright and comfortable space for those with a modern esthetic. The home has a collection of mid-century furnishings that have taken a lifetime to acquire. So we hope you can appreciate and respect them as much as we do.
Quiet Period
Due to the close proximity of the neighbor’s homes, the quiet period for indoor and outdoor spaces is from 11 p.m.— 9 a.m., Monday through Sunday. Loud music is discouraged at any point outdoors. And even though I might not be there, my neighbors will definitely let me know.
No Smoking
This is a non-smoking property. No smoking is permitted inside or on outdoor porch areas. Smokers are encouraged to leave the structure area and smoke in the yard or driveway. Cigarette buts must be properly disposed in the trash containers located in the driveway.
Kitchen
You are welcome to use all small and large appliances provided. And feel free to use any kitchen or dinner ware located in the base cabinetry. The higher cabinets and the drawers in the dining area are owner storage. These will be marked with a small note. So please ask permission before using anything from these areas. The kitchen is for small family meals only. No catering or parties please.
Entertaining
While parties are discouraged, entertaining a few guests for drinks is of course permissible. But please try to keep it under 5 additional guests.
Food & Wine
Although the furniture has been Scotchgarded, please try to contain meals to the dining areas.
Trash & Recycling
Separate bins are located in a cabinet to left of the sink. The city recycles and separates glass, paper, aluminum, chipboard and heavy plastic containers.
